I recently decided to switch tanks from a 90l to a 300l so was in desperate need of a light that was large enough while also providing adequate light for my plants. So when I stumbled upon this I thought it looked like great quality and decided to give it a go. •The light seems to be made of decent quality and provides a wide variety of light options ie intensity of light, color spectrum, and 24 hour timers. •The remote attached to the light is simple and straight forward while giving you exactly what you need. •Extremely easy to use but the instructions provided can help with any confusion. •I have managed to drip some water on the light unit and there has been no issues so it seems to be waterproof to that extent. •My plants look lovely and green under the light but time will tell on if it is sufficient for growth or not. Overall, I’d say this light is functional, easy to use, and worth the price. Time will tell on how well it holds up over time.

I have had this light for nearly a year now and I am am very happy with it. The light quality is very good with aquatic plants growing well. The functionality with regards to the timer is simple but effective, with the light ramping up in brightness. The only downside is that while the timer runs on 24 hour cycle there is no clock function. This means that, if for example you wanted to select the 6 hour light period, you must be present and set the timer at the time of day when you want the light period to begin. This can be annoying if you happen to power off the light, as you have to then make yourself available for next day and time when you would like to set the timer. Still I would probably buy this again for a similar size tank.

I’ve tested the SEAOURA LED Full Spectrum Aquarium Light over the past few weeks on a 20-gallon planted setup, and I’m genuinely impressed with the feature set for this price point. The full-spectrum output (white, red, blue, green) provides a pleasant color balance and appears to support steady growth in low- to medium-light plants such as Anubias, Cryptocoryne, and Java fern. The 24/7 automatic cycle is particularly well done — the gradual sunrise and sunset transitions add realism to the aquarium and help reduce stress for fish. Brightness control is smooth, and the included controller is easy to use once you get used to its layout. That said, the light intensity is moderate, and for deeper tanks or demanding species (like carpeting plants or red varieties), additional lighting or CO₂ supplementation may be required. The housing is lightweight plastic, which keeps it affordable but slightly less premium in feel. Also, the timer resets after power interruptions, so a backup timer could be useful. Overall, this is a well-designed and cost-effective lighting solution for most community and planted aquariums under 60 cm deep. SEAOURA has managed to combine useful functionality with an accessible price, making this a solid choice for beginner and intermediate aquascapers.

Great light, better than some expensive brands, Makes the reds on plants pop, And also good for the colours of fish, green alien betta looks amazing under this light, grows plants rather well also, I purchased one to try on one of my smaller tanks I was so impressed ive purchased another one for my other tank, Now ive brought the the large one for my 4ft I'm about to set up, Definitely would recommend,

I have bought two of these now, the first a narrower one for my old tank, which performed well. On that tank i had a condensation guard. at that time i would have given this 5 stars. However, i then acquired a new 300L tank and needed a larger light. I bought the 71-76cm and this tank is not designed to take a condensation screen. Immediately - it had condensation inside the unit! So its clearly not designed very well as to allow condensation ingress. Two months of use and it has sagged in the middle so badly it now touches the centre support strut in the tank, that is a sag of approx 1.5cm. The last time i removed it for tank cleaning, i lifted it out, tipped it and water literally pored out of the end! This is Cheap, and now i know why, its RUBBISH. I am now going to have to buy a replacement before this one fails, as with that much water in it, it won't be long. Don't waste you money on this, its not fit for purpose

Very happy with this light. The 91cm to 106cm lights up my 4ft tank perfectly showing off all of the colors of my fish. Really easy to set up and functions perfect. Well worth the money

does what it says, lots of different light settings, very bright on the brightness one, doesn’t get hot, , light and sturdy👍
