I bought these and realized I got the wrong size. Return was effortless! I get the right size ones tomorrow!!! 3-5-24, I just got my new size! It's perfect!!

changed the locks on my motorhome hatches, you do not need to be a rocket scientist, but an explanation that they can be installed two ways, key can be removed in unlocked position, or key cannot be removed in unlocked position.

These locks were a direct fit for the ones I was replacing. I had an issue with the alignment of the tab on one of the doors that was damaged in a tornado. I ended up using the longer tab and grinding it down to the length I needed. On all the other locks I was able to use the shorter tab. The nice part is now I have locks on the doors where my propane tanks are installed.I need to buy a couple of the shorter locks for two more locks. I’m hoping to get them keyed identical to the ones I’ve purchased so I don’t have a huge ring of keys to carry around all the time. 🙏

The metal used to manufacture this lock appears to be some what soft, When I tightened the lock nut on the end of the lock it was too easy to strip the threads making the lock useless.

I was surprised at the quality specially considering the price, but these are well-made locks, especially considering the cost.They also come with two different hasps, which is convenient.

I bought these to replace a broken lock on the side box of my 1968 Ford F250 pickup. I used the wrong key once and though it was binding so I used enough force that the key started to twist. I then realized I had the wrong key and the correct one opened it effortlessly. The lock did not fail the whole time. Most weaker locks would have stripped out. Not this one.
