ROTHENBERGER 114064 Hoja Serra Hss-Bimetal 64 mm

I've just been using them to re-hang a load of doors when I replaced their old steel with new stainless steel hinges. The shims are just the job, almost the same size as the hinges and there's no need to pre-drill if you use an electric screwdriver. However, I've only needed 2mm shims plus an occasional 1mm one. I cannot envisage ever using the thicker ones. I have another dozen doors to rehang, that's 48x2mm shims (or 96x1mm) which means I'll have to reorder another couple of batches unless the seller will sell by size rather than assortment.

I use these for all manner of things including as glazing spacers. The thicker ones have curved a little in manufacture or storage so you need to be prepared for the bow this creates as it will create some tension - the thinner ones are fine. I have them stored by thickness in a multi-compartment box so they are easily accessed when needed.Really useful and good value compared with the DIY sheds

Have not used them for packing windows but have found several other uses. For example, placing under laminate flooring where there was a change in floor height at a door threshold. The dipping floor board was as solid as a rock afterwards

They are as described and do what they are supposed to do. I can't compare them to any other similar items as I have never bought these before, so as they do what they are suppose to I will give 5 stars. Delivery was fast and the bag full of them was bigger than expected so delivery cost was reasonable.

I replaced same decking boards and they weren't exactly the same thickness as the old ones. By using a combination of these spacers, I was able to get them all at the same level as the rest of the decking. I replaced eight boards and couldn't have done a successful job without these spacers.

They do the job, BUT took for ever to arrive when they did they were fine apart from the smell of plastic spacers but after opened went away, made the nose twitch must have been the chemicals or something in manufacturing

Very brittle but suitable for the job. Tried cutting some to fit in odd places and they near enough shatter.
