Rather than paying someone to fix it each time, A tool was neeededThe product comes in a Retail Pack, its also hassle free packaging so no need for scissors.It contains:-1 x OBD II ReaderThe product feels and looks great. Its made of hard plastic so will be able to sustain a few drops.There is no requirement for batteries as it takes the power from the car. Simply connect the device up and turn on the ignition for the carMenu wise its self explanatory. Very good piece of kit, easy to use, would recommend.I think I read in one of the reviews that the reader had a good battery life?.Just in case anyone was wondering this device does not take batteries it is powered from the car once it is plugged in to the OBD port.

I bought this to view my Audi A6 codes - works a treat... ofc you will only get the standard codes with this unit - which is fine in most cases.You can clear error codes and get rid of the pesky illuminated engine dashboard light.Before my local garage was charging £35 to read/reset the codes!This is a handy unit and, for the price, you cannot go wrong.
