The concept is an overall good one, but the execution isn’t. As you see in two of the pictures, the space saver hangers actually take up more room in bulk than when just using the regular closet bar/racks.

My clothes closet was full and the hangers were jammed from pole to pole. I bought this product in hopes that it would allow me to have more space on the current racks and so that I could sort through my clothes more easily. IT WORKED! These space saver hooks are fantastic! I have the same amount of clothes in my closet and it looks like I have half the amount of clothes in my closet. I can now easily sort through my clothes and pick out what I want to wear. I need to buy a few more of these for myself. And these will also make great gifts for others. This is amazing!!! Helped me organized and look at clothes that were ready to go. Opened up my closet space a bit. The trick is not to face the hooks to each other make sure they are facing the opposite side of each other. In my opinion it reduces crowded clothing.

These hangers are the bomb!!! I can now hang 5-10 items in the space of 2-3 items. My closet isn’t very big and I am a clothes hog. So these were perfect for me. They are super durable. I tried plastic ones like these awhile ago and they just wouldn’t hold. Love these and highly recommend them!

What is totally perplexing to me is the fact that it took up the same exact amount of space in my closet when the items were hung on the magic hangers as they did when they were simply on the bar. I gave it three bars because it did what it said it would do which is hold clothes diagonally.

I originally purchased the plastic closet savers, the original ones, years ago & still have them & they're still just as sturdy as they always have been but I needed more for my husband's clothes as I'm now married. I purchased the newer plastic version on Amazon that resembled my originals but they didn't last long at all! The hooks are not 'set' the same, totally different design than the 'originals' & very thin! Therefore, they broke w/in a few weeks. I decided to try these metal ones, TOTAL difference! They're a LOT more durable than the plastic & seem to be holding up a lot longer! It's tricky trying to insert the plastic hangers, which are 'fatter' than metal but my metal ones rusted so I went w/plastic hangers this time, but once I get the hangers in there, no biggie! Definitely NOT a deal breaker! Do yourself a favor & skip the cheaper, plastic closet savers & go w/these metal ones b/c you'll just end up getting these as a replacement anyway! ;)

I really love these! I just ordered my third set of 12 and I plan to get a few sets for my kids.I've owned several other brands and types of these space savers, and these blow all of them away. Firstly, I will NEVER buy plastic ones again (every single set I've had in the past quickly broke or the plastic stretched until they couldn't be hung anymore).These are absolutely terrific, though. Very sturdy, and easy to use. I don't know if you can tell, but I also used several to hang all my belts on behind my suits (I used Amazon basics steel oval shower rings--perfect solution, since I have dozens of belts). Having my suits on these makes getting a belt a snap! I also use the bottom hook on this to hang various totes, so they won't be on the ground.I'm thinking I might get some hooks with spring-loaded clips so I can also hang the several pairs of knee-high boots I have, so they won't bend over and get permanent creases.All in all, you cannot go wrong with these! They are the least expensive ones I've seen on Amazon, and they are an excellent value.

These worked really well to organize my shirts/blouses, and have them take up much less space in the closet. It also allowed me to group them by type and help keep them that way. However, I have found when hanging up thicker items, such as jeans or large sweaters, they actually do not take up much less space than using regular hangers.
