Q: The label says benfotaimine 20%. Is this referring to 20% of the 300mg capsule is benfotaimine ie 60mg or is the 20% referring to weight?

I have submitted a request to the Clear Formulas supplement company for clarification on the Benfotiamine 20% confusion. Here is the question I submitted. NOTE: i will post the answer here when I receive a reply. If I do not receive a reply in 3 weeks, then I will update and state the company has not replied to my request for this information. INFORMATION REQUEST SENT TO CLEAR FORMULAS (on Sept. 6, 2023): I have purchased your Benfotiamine product from Amazon. I have using it since June 2023 with generally favorable results. I have been contacted several times by Amazon to respond to potential customers who have questions about the formulation in this product. The contents label shows "Benfotiamine 20% 300mg. The question is: what is the listing of Benfotiamine 20% actually mean in terms of how much of the 300mg is actually pure Benfotiamine. Is 20% of the 300mg or 60mg actually Benfotiamine, or is there another way to interpret the Benfotiamine 20% listing? How many capsules do I need to take to actually receive 300mg of benfotiamine? I need to post a reply to the Amazon Q&A web listing for your product. Thanks, Larry Garwood
