I bought these for my dad who had extremely swollen legs and feetin hospital. Easy to get on and off. After two months of daily use they were washed and look brand new. Very good quality velcro. Highly recommend. They are secure, don't slip and were competitively priced. Even now his feet have reduced in size and we can still adjust the velcro for a secure fit. Bought these in a size 13 as a bit of a whim back in June, and nearly sent them back for a size 12, but am glad I didn't - it is now "winter socks on" time, and a 12 with thick wool socks would be too small/cramped.The reason for buying them was the Velcro fitting - no laces or buckles - just velcro; if you want/need them a bit tighter/looser, you just pull off and push back on.The main sports shops seem to be cutting down on any Velcro on their sales lines.

I bought these for their extra wide, easy open closure. Being disabled it's harder to put on shoes than for the average person. I liked that these shoes had an opening on the instep side of the foot which makes putting them on so much easier.
