My street has no public lighting, so we rely on the good graces of our neighbors to illuminate the neighborhood at night. I took it upon myself to get some really nice and BRIGHT bulbs to put on the external sconces on my garage. I've always had a great experience with Great Eagle bulbs and these were no exception. They. Are. Bright. I have been a bit lazy to get the light switch updated to my Kasa switches so that they have a schedule (on at dusk, off at dawn), so they've just been running 24/7. I went a little over one year of 24/7 utilization before one of the two bulbs started flickering badly. According to my math, I got about 8,760 hours of utilization before failure. According to Great Eagle's math, they should have gotten closer to 15,000 hours before failure. I'll attribute the lower life expectancy due to the fact that these bulbs were exposed to Midwestern weather (humid/dry cycles, hot/cold cycles, summer/winter cycles, etc.), so they worked great considering the environment. I cannot recommend them for indoor usage as they have a really bad hum/coil whine when used in a lamp. All things considered, these bulbs worked fantastically for my application and I would definitely purchase them again.

These LED bulbs are the kind of upgrade you don’t realize you needed until you flip the switch. The daylight tone is crisp and energizing—perfect for waking up a dim basement or making a garage feel like a workspace again. I was genuinely surprised by how much brighter everything looked, without any harsh glare or weird flickering. They screw in like any regular bulb, but the difference is night and day—literally. I’ve used them in my laundry room and workshop, and both spaces feel more functional and inviting. The two-pack is a solid deal, especially for bulbs that feel this powerful and reliable. They’re not dimmable, but honestly, when you want full brightness, these deliver without compromise. I’d buy them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them.

Well... it's a pair of lightbulbs - how much can you really say? They are 150 watt equivalent, so they are very bright. I got them to replace the old bulbs in my bathroom (the old ones were 15 years old and one was flickering), so they appear considerably brighter than the ones they were replacing, and a lot more white. This type of bulb generally has a 10+ year life expectancy, so I might not have to replace them again. However, if I even get 5 years out of them, it will be a very good value for my money. I noticed the review prompt suggested that I comment on 'heat generation,' so I just went into the bathroom and touched one of the bulbs. The lights had been on for over an hour and the bulb was still cool to the touch. The bulbs are large - it's a 150 watt equivalent so they're going to be large bulbs - but not so large they don't fit nicely under my standard-sized glass shades. I'm going to have to try these bulbs in some other fixtures - if they fit in my exterior lights, I'll definitely get some more.

This two-pack is a great deal. The brightness is ideal for a main living area—not too dim, not too overpowering. They arrived well-packaged and work perfectly. I'll likely buy another set for the bedroom!

ETA: Both lightbulbs in the pack began to buzz very loudly after only a short period of use. I’ve had to take them out of commission. I’m in my 40s, and my eyesight, which was always great, went dramatically downhill in a short period of time. I’ve been aware that the lighting in my reading spot is poor but didn’t know how to address it for lack of places to put a lamp or to plug anything more in. Also, I was raised in a frugal home where we always used super low wattage. I didn’t really have a concept of high wattage bulbs for home lamps. My eyes aren’t good with bluish lighting and greatly prefer incandescent soft white or halogen to anything else (although I’ve been adapting to energy efficient bulbs with a struggle). I finally decided to try 150 Watt LED 2700K, and it makes all the difference visually. Unfortunately the low key hum / buzz is bad enough that my head feels like it’s buzzing (also my box arrived looking like it had been opened, so possibly this was a return?). So I’m not sure what I will do. It’s a really soft sound, but I have a neurological condition and supersonic ears. I don’t know if all LED bulbs this bright will be prone to buzzing or if another brand would do the trick. Also, although 2700K is about as warm as you can typically get without a bulb being amber, I’d prefer yellower light. But I’m funny that way. And it is what it says it is. …With a buzz. So 5 stars for the basics & 1 star for the high-pitched buzz—-> 2.5 stars. If you don’t have sensitive ears, you’ll probably love these.

I'm using these in my garage shop. They are such an improvement from what I had in there before and I've been using these for months with no issues.
