It arrived all complete and on time, and it's good quality ink stone which was the main reason I got this, I lost my old ink stone but it never hurts to get a full set. The brushes aren't really good for writing in hiragana in my opinion but are good for basic brush strokes and painting. If I was someone who cared enough I'd complain about the size, especially the ink stone, but I didn't read the dimensions or anything and I think it's rather adorable. Plus the stone is actually proper stone like material perhaps slate, because it's quite heavy despite its cute size and it feels like such. All in all a cute set. Just be warned its smaller than it looks in a picture. If you compared it to your hand or an everyday item in your house and took a picture you'd see the difference in size better.

One brush fell apart straight away but whatever, I taped it up. Good.

This is a Christmas present for my son but think he will love this

Bought as an Xmas gift for my great niece. Arrived in good time.

Bought as a stocking filler for my son a Uni student studying animation but also interested in calligraphy. Very pleased with it just what he wanted to experiment with.

This is amazing- inks - writing tool - fabulous case - all very authentic

Needs instructions, although I’m sure I will find some online.

Bit grotty and tacky, low quality product. Not impressed.
