Can you use gddr4 ram with this

No. RAM is a component that's connected to the motherboard. However, modern GPUs such as this model have onboard GDDR4 RAM. 4Gb of it, to be precise. This is a great beginner card, but don't expect it to run Warzone, Apex, or Halo even on medium settings. My niece uses it to play Minecraft & a few other low-poly games, but it won't be able to push things like most modern AAA games. You'll want something with at least 6Gb of VRAM (GDDR), before you want to think about playing most modern games that you'd also find on consoles.

will this fit in a Dell Optiplex 7010?

Only way to know is looking at your motherboard. This requires an available PCIEx16 slot AND a vacant avail case slot opening immediately adjacent to it on its southbound side as you look at the board. It only requires 1 slot for connection, the extra space is needed to fit its cooling fan and fan exhaust port. Also, this is a full height board, I am not familiar with your particular Dell, but ir its a thin case it probably wont fit, the slot covers need to be 4+in, not the 2in ones. If looking at your board you cannot tell, better to have an experienced pc tech look at it, its way too simple to damage pc boards and components if you dont know for sure what you're doing. BTW, its a great card for the money!

BUY BEWARE - This is 2012 tech. It won't do 4K nor work with Photoshop. JUNK!

We needed a basic video card for out 4K monitor. Found out after the return window as closed that it's 2012 junk. The HD7670 was release in 2012. DONT Let the DDR5 fool you. And I don't even know for sure that is what the RAM is on it. Junk Junk Junk. Stay Away unless you are running a Windows 7 computer...

I bought this card for my Inspiron 8300 to replace the PNY 1gb ddr3 Nvidia gforce card I put in a few years ago. It runs faster than the PNY (as it should) but still runs in the lower end on the system benchmark program I use. The ATI software that automatically installs for Windows 11 detects the card and sets it up. I can set up overclocking easily in the ATI software. It's a quiet card that works well with my Dell. All in all my system is quiet and the graphics are good. It's worth the money.Edit: this card isn't DirectX 12 compatible, which means it's driver isn't Windows 11 compatible. Again, the card will work with Windows 11, but you may get some video lock-ups (black screen) in some apps. I think with Windows 11 if you try to overclock it in the Catalyst Control Suite it may get a bit twitchy. The colors are good, though, and the display graphics edges are pretty sharp.

Barely worked

I bought this GPU to diagnose non-iGPU PCs. Unfortunately, this GPU is so unreliable that it would not even give me a video output most of the time. I thought I had a boot problem. It worked sometimes and then it didn't, and I couldn't figure out why. Took it out and try my other GPU and PC back to working. Don't waste your time buying this GPU.

Ok for display and light video

I got this for an extreme budget PC for a client, it'll do alright for daily tasks but I would say spend I little more for a rx 500 series or GTX 1000 series if modern gaming is expected. Changed to 1 star because one closer inspection the card has only >1gb of VRAM and the 4GB GDDR5 claim is an outright lie.

Obsolete and install issues make this a pass

Wanted to like this as a video card for a non-graphics enabled AM4 processor for light gaming and general computing. The card didn't do an auto-install and I was left with no video output. I put in a low end card I had lying around and went in search of drivers for this new card. I was surprised to find that the last best drivers out there were several years old and it didn't look like AMD were supporting it with driver updates any more. At that point, I packed it up and sent it back for a refund. Too little time to mess around with stuff that's this fussy to get running.
