Replaced the 8" arm that came with my two-set w/rainfall head. The original was kind of floppy, didn't hold settings, and fit really odd since it didn't come with a swivel connection at the inlet. This meant that once it tightened, THAT was where it stayed.This arm is sure set with adjustments you make, no slipping, no drooping, no movement.And the inlet is a SWIVEL connector. Put the arm where you want it and tighten the connection.Like most plumbing, use teflon tape. Use your OWN teflon tape. So far both of the items that arrived with tape included had very thin tape. Not very good for sealing the connection.But this did everything for my rainfall shower head that I wanted. Great upgrade.

This adjustable shower arm was delivered while I was working today. After my afternoon cup of coffee, I promptly installed it and was able to shower without bending and ducking for the first time in a decade. Wasn't sure if it'd work with a splitter system, but very happy to find out it does.Installation was easy after reading the directions. I fiddled with it first, and when I couldn't figure out how to adjust it, I decided it was time to learn how it works. Very nice to have the water from the main shower head fall down on me as opposed to at me from the side.

Whoa, this product is strong and chunky! There are 2 variants of this shower arm, we got the 12" one. There is a longer 16" version. We've used 16" arms before and don't feel the need for anything that extends that far.Now that we have this product, we don't expect to have to buy any more any time soon. That's a seriously solid piece of metal here; we'd venture to say it could even be used for home defense too :DInstallation was straightforward, with clear concise instructions (probably written here in the USA). The locking teeth of the nuts contribute to much stability. Once tightened, this thing ain't moving.Well worth the price!

I don't like my rainfall shower head spraying water out at an angle from the wall mounted shower arm. I want it releasing water centered directly overhead and this jointed shower arm allows me to do just that. Easy to install and adjust, and no leaks!
