I was needing to protect the hallway carpet while getting skirting and about 16,754 doorways painted...this stuff worked a treat! Who knew 'sellotaping' yer carpet could be so much fun! Would definitely recommend having two people to apply it, imagine you were trying to lay out cling film...only it's sticky! Easy enough to place and move position before fully pressing into place. Had it laid down for a few days, zero issues when I pulled it up, the carpet is pretty old and well trodden but it gave it a bit of a 'fluff up' when removing the film. Thickness of the film was great, double it up in places just because I had enough left. Painter was delighted when he saw it, no phaffing about with dust sheets!

Good for protecting carpet

Would have been a 5 star review but the smell from the plastic wasn’t very nice and I’m not moaning for the sake of it. Top tip use in a well ventilated area to reduce the odour Very easy to use, easy removal and no residue as we only had it down for 24 hrs

This protecting film is a holly grail product. It has a nice length and width and it's easy to apply and remove. It does not damage the carpet or leave a sticky residue in my experience. It has a sellotape material but it's more durable than the normal kitchen sellotape and one side is slightly sticky. Therefore, it adheres to your desired area and does not budge until you remove it although the stick is gentle to your carpet. I will absolutely recommend it to all of my friends who are doing a renovation.

This stuff is amazing and a must have for decorating, moving or even for what I bought it for... to protect the carpet on the stairway whilst hosting a party.. people need the toilet and o wanted to protect the carpet. Did exactly as it said.. not a long pile carpet. Simply unroll and stick. Works similar to cling film but bigger and a bit of adhesion pm the back. Don’t worry.. as long as you don’t leave it down too long it peels straight off and leaving your carpet or flooring perfectly clean. With out a doubt I’d be using this again when I have a part or something. Works crazy well! And I have plenty left as it’s quite a large roll
