Even with average DIY skills, this was super easy to install. Should it ever loosen, it will also be very easy to tighten again. Quite sturdy and the easy-close works well. Would definitely recommend.

It’s reasonable quality but is a bit flexible. Doesn’t work all that well with lever type flushing toilets with low level cisterns because the lid and seat tend to foul the lever. This means tat the soft close mechanism tends to activate when men are standing up to use the toilet in an unpredictable fashion. Also the bolts have no nuts and are set from the top. Older toilets have thicker ceramic and these simply don’t work so I used the bolts from old seat and it’s okay. On balance it’s probably very good if you have a newer toilet with thinner ceramic with a push button flush system. May not be the best choice for a traditional lever toilet

very impressed for the price , this took a maximum of ten minutes to fit , the soft close works well , the big plus is the quick release to help you clean the toilet with ease .

Pretty good quality. Not as good as the original but not bad. Fit is the same - not perfect but pretty good. I could only fit it 5mm too far forward or 5mm too far back. Overall a good purchase at a discounted price.
