I loved that it wasn't just another dry business book. It was a lighthearted read tackling the often serious topic of discovery in a refreshing way.The good:- Back to the basics reminder of fundamental processes- like focusing on the 'why' before diving into the 'how'.- Team spirit camaraderie and team dynamics illustrated in the book were not just fun to read but educational. They show a united team is often the key to a successful discovery phase.-Emotional connections are important- with your team and stakeholders- which can be a game changer in project outcomes.What's missing:-The book was so enjoyable that I found myself wishing for more, but that's a good problem to have. There are layers of discovery that this book doesn't go into but that leaves the exploration and customization to the reader.In summary you won't just learn, you'll be entertained.Bravo, Pei!

Pei Mun Lim, I love your empathic approach in writing this book, and I kept wondering and in awe of how you remember how it is to be new. I love how you foster nurturing the "young"/newbies versus them feeling like they are drinking from a firehose. The concept of kindness permeates every chapter in your book, and I feel that this is a must reading not only for the newbies but also for the companies who have problems retaining talents.Being an empath myself, please know that your approach to teaching the concepts of Discovery was very effective. Your guide is very easy to understand. This thin book is packed full of valuable info but a very easy read. I am sure I will keep using it as a reference as I grow in consulting.

I have implemented Salesforce for over a decade and I wish I had this book. I share this book with people that I have managed as well as people that I teach how to be a Salesforce Consultant. Pei's book is a great resource for those that are looking at becoming a business analyst or possibly a consultant as well those that are already in this occupation. It provides you with a template to get you started in the right direction in this field of work and/or it can be a refresher to stay up to date with current methodologies and client expectations. I have been a Business Analyst/Consultant for over 10 years, and I recommend this book as a must have in your library to utilize as one of your items to reference in your toolbox of resources.

I wish I had read this book years ago when I started out in Salesforce. The examples and lessons in this book are such a good guide for improving your approach to project discovery.
