NeoPhysioMedical Grade Wraparound Neoprene Calf Support Perfect for Shin Splints, Muscle Tears, Pains and Sprains

I bought a pair of these (individually sold) after pulling and straining both calves in the space of 4 weeks when out running. I had a four week time-frame to recover prior to an obstacle course race which is less than a week away now (and for which I am targeting a high finish - and spent on an upgrade to start towards the front - so no pulling out prior to the race!!).Although my calves are still not fully recovered when out on training runs and still have the occasional discomfort, the main benefit of these supports is the very fact that I am able to run at all. Especially with the frost out on the roads when I train. I slowly built my way up to running again by wearing these to the gym and using non-impact training like rowing on the indoor erg machine and also the elliptical trainer. This allowed me, at the time of injuries, to maintain a daily cardio routine and for this reason these have been a very good investment if for no other reason that I feel more confident in the resilience of my calves when exercising.The neoprene material acts as an insulator to ensure the calves are warm once active. This is an added advantage for indeed taking part in the mentioned obstacle course race with an excess of countless cold water obstacles - possibly with ice floating bout.

This was perfect for supporting my calf following an injury sustained whilst running. I was concerned that it would not adjust to my small calf however the adjustable strips are fantastic and allow you to tighten the sleeve to ensure you are fully supported. It really aided my recovery and I would highly recommend it to anyone with a torn calf muscle.

Pulled my calf and this helped me get back on track within a few days. There are better ones on the market, but at a budget, this did the trick.

Have had a calf injury on and off for weeks so decided to order this product. Fantastic, really great product, warms the muscle up well when running aids my recovery well. My calf is small but it wraps round really well and stays put!

Comfy supportive

This was a Brilliant! bit of kit. I tore my calf muscle playing basketball ( in my 50s) grade 3 , put this on and instant relief , fits well , can get a bit sweaty but easy to wash , I kept it on in the shower . Well worth every penny.

I have a very complex and sometimes unstable endoprosthesis in my leg. I was previously using Tubi grip but with recent pain problems, decided to try this for extra support.I'm so pleased with it that I've just ordered another one!
