❥ How to set sound control mode (power-saving mode)? Press DOWN button to turn the sound control mode on/ off. on:sd means sound control mode on. --:sd means sound control mode off. When sound control on means the screen will go off automatically after 13 seconds. If speak ?60 db or touch the top of the clock or clap your hands, the screen will automatically back to the display. ❥ How to adjust the brightness? Press UP button for 3 seconds to enter the brightness adjustment mode, press UP and DOWN button to choose the level of brightness. There are 3 levels of the brightness :L1-L2-L3 ( higher, mid, dimmer ) ❥ How to set the display mode? Improved instructions
After reading previous reviews I was a little cautious about buying this. Have to say that the instructions provided (for this Upgrade Version) are quite clear for all the issues raised, and included detailed explanation about how to get the display to stay on. My only (small) criticism is that when charging the unit the temperature display shows about 10C warmer than the actual room temperature; once disconnected it returns to normal. Bought for use in our campervan, so pleased at the low weight and compact shape.

Don’t bother
While this clock looks lovely and has a handy temperature display and doubles as an alarm, it just stopped working suddenly one day. Wouldn’t charge up or anything. Now I’m out of pocket 🙃

So complicated.
It looks good, but too complicated when all you want is to be woken up in the morning and to be able to see what time it is in the middle of the night. Sorry.

Good so far. If run on batteries, the batteries will not last for more than 8 days. Accuracy:. 1minute added in 10 days.
