I chose this one as it fits flat against the inside of the gate so the only drilling is three holes, one for the opening mechanism and two for the screws which fixes the front and back together. There's no need to drill into the side of the gate the fix a tubular latch like some of the other types. Changing the combination is easy too.

A solid piece of kit. Made in Japan and not in China, which is a bit more reassuring when considering the longevity of the item. The instructions take a little bit of concentration to understand how to change the direction of the throw of the bolt and how to change the access code - it comes with its own set of tweezers to assist. However, it only took me one go to get it right. Installation is fairly easy - it all came with a template that means it is difficult to get it wrong. The fitting itself only took me about 10 minutes. My door is actually 60 mm thick and with the use of a spare M4 screw I had with a bit more reach than the largest screw supplied, was able to get it all secure. Reasonable delivery too.

The lock is of good construction and just what I needed. Setting a new code was laborious, but sorted it eventually. Bar that a worthwhile purchase.

This is a really well made robust product. Easy to change the numbers to one that I can remember. Good Japanese mechanics. Should give many years of service. Has been fitted to an external gate.
