So although my first review still stands (see below) after having the lamp just two months I am having to return it because one of the sensors is faulty. It no longer recognises my hand unless I hold a finger permanently over the left hand sensor when I need to use it. Because this is an item 'fulfilled by amazon' I am unable to get a direct replacement. Instead I have to return the item and wait for a refund and then reorder which is a slight inconvenience. More so if you are a professional I would imagine as it means being without my lamp for a few weeks :(ORIGINAL REVIEW ... Before purchasing this lamp for home use I had looked at cheaper alternatives but decided to go with this one purely due to it being the same 'make' as the other products I was purchasing (clueless beginner here!). I am so pleased I did! The light is a lovely size allowing me to get all of my five (very long!) fingers inside at once. This I was surprised at as when I've had my nails done previously I've had to cure my thumb separately! It has timer settings of 15 secs, 30 secs and 60 secs and all controls are very easy to use. The base is also removable for doing toenails. Very impressed. A*

Would not recommend this lamp. It does not cure in the recommended time looks cheap only wasting ur money

Unit is compact & smart but cable is black & very short- this has caused me problems. Clients thumbs still need to be cured separately as lights don't go right down at either side. Unit emits a high pitch sound when plugged in which I find annoying. If I needed another lamp I might take my chances on something different.

I'm a newby to gelling/shellacking? and I hardly ever did my nails. I'm quite heavy handed and they always seem to chip within hours.Being my first time It did take a while to go through all the stages. I stuck with NKY1 products as I'd purchased from them before and happy with their products and service.I thought I'd wasted my time as each coat seemed tacky, even after extra time under the lamp, but after applying the top coat and using the polish to remove the residue, I was amazed at the perfect finish! Nearly a week on and so far so good. I'm sold! Buying more colours now.

Doesn't dry the thumb. Very frustrating

First time using led the unit seems quite robust and looks better than than my bulky uv lamp, it works perfect automatically sets back to the time you choose and does cured each layer in 30 sec saves alot of time especially when you only want to do a single nail repair, the only down side is that I still need to use my uv lamp to cure nails when using uv gel builder, as with acrylic no lamp needed, but that's not a big deal.

Very good item that dries nails quickly. Would highly recommend.
