Q: Does this have paraben and phthalates?

Hi there! We appreciate your interest in our Infallible Grip Mechanical Gel Eyeliner. L'Oreal stopped using phthalates in our products more than a decade ago. Parabens are a group of commonly used ingredients that act as a preservative in cosmetics and personal care products. They are highly effective in preventing the growth of fungi, bacteria and yeast that could contaminate and degrade products. As part of our commitment to deliver high-quality, effective products, certain parabens are used in some of our formulations to ensure the safety of our consumers. Extensive research spanning decades has confirmed the parabens in our portfolio are safe at the concentrations we use. The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), which regulates the personal care industry, upholds these findings. While we take great care in evaluating each ingredient we use and are confident in our products’ safety, we know there is public conversation encouraging consumers to avoid certain ingredients, as is the case with some parabens. Based on growing demand for products that do not include parabens, we substituted them for other preservatives in some of our products. Consumers can look on our products’ labels to see what ingredients are included. Additionally, as part of our innovation strategy we are developing packaging systems and new product formulations that are less vulnerable to microbiological contamination, which will limit the use of preservatives in general. Q: does this work on your waterline? Is the brown dark ?

Yes it works on waterline. The brown is a dark brown. Nice color!

Q: Does this have a sharpener? Some people say yes and done say no

ABSOLUTELY YES, THIS HAS A SHARPENER. On the end opposite of the eyeliner there is a little sponge to soften the line if you'd like. Pull that out of the pen and VOILA, there's the sharpener. People who say no just haven't looked for or discovered it. It's NOT obvious that it's there. Packaging could be more clear as to its existence and accessibility. But it's there & works perfectly.

Q: What color is Taupr Brown?

It is actually Taupe Grey. It's a beautiful Grey color. A little hard to describe, but I think you would be pleased.
