Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max, 1TB, Space Black - Unlocked (Renewed)

I purchased the 14 pro max unlocked. It came exactly as advertised. The phone is in great shape, there is only one tiny scratch on the screen but you have to look for it to see it. The rest of the phone is in perfect condition. As others have said, you can see they cleaned around the cameras but they didn't do a great job. It took me a minute with a cotton swab to clean it up, not an issue at all.This is the first time I've ever bought a phone off Amazon and I'm pleasantly surprised with the price and quality.

My phone came in packaged very nicely with absolutely ZERO scratches on the screen or body. It also came with 100% battery life which is amazing. Checked everything out I’ve seen other bad reviews mention and found nothing wrong. It’s practically brand spankin’ new. Very Pleased.

The listing said ‘excellent,’ but the actual condition is closer to good or acceptable. On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being brand new), I’d rate it a 6 due to dents on the camera and a worn/discolored screen bezel. The battery health is also at 86%, which is below what I’d expect for something described as excellent — ideally it should be at least 88–90%, since anything lower usually indicates heavier prior use. Additionally, I ordered a purple phone but received a black one instead.

Perfect condition almost like new. After the initial iOS update which took forever it was pretty easy to get set up. Does not have dual SIM like it says but eSIM is perfectly fine with me. Packaged perfectly with screen protectors and a temporary case. Came with lighting cable. Runs great with no issues charging. Does not run hot. I’ll never buy brand new again.

Overview: I bought the IPhone 14 Pro Max as my first IPhone coming from Android because I wanted to try it out, and it works well! I brought it to my carrier to transfer phones numbers, had some trouble setting it up at first but I figured it out on my own, which can be disheartening to some but here’s the pros and cons.Pros:-Cosmetically great | Saw no huge scratches or marks on the phone, if so, they’re probably REALLY minor.-Pre-installed screen protector | The seller I bought it from was called “GSMFORALL” it was nice of them to do it for me instead of doing myself, which I wouldn’t have minded but it was awesome of them to include that in!-Safe Packaging | phone came in bubble rap sleeve when I opened it, can be considered standard but I liked that they included it.Battery Life | Battery works just fine, charges up to 100% easily.Cons:-Cheap charging chord | Cheap lightning charger, the box it fine but the charger head was loose 3rd day into using it, I would recommend getting an actual apple branded lighting chord or a braided one from a third party seller.-Trouble registering for iCloud Account | This only really applies if you’re a first time Apple user (Like Me) and needs to create an iCloud account, took it to my carrier to transfer numbers which they did just fine, but I had to call Apple support at home to troubleshoot the problem with a message displaying that I could not verify my phone number, had to erase my safari history. The process can be troublesome for people who may not know what to do if they come across it.Overall, owning an iPhone for the first time has been a great experience, I was debating on getting the S24 Ultra from Samsung because I’ve already owned one. But I can say I’m happy owning an iPhone! :)

I am beyond happy with the purchase. I purchased (excellent) refurbished and the device basically looks brand new. I’ll likely never buy brand new again.

The phone arrived later than expected but I think that was more FedEx's problem than the seller. It was packaged okay and it was the only thing in the box, it did not come with a charger. Kinda bummed about that but it's fine, I have chargers at home.Once I got the phone turned on, everything was fine until I noticed that it did not have a sim card tray. I was unaware that the 14 Pro Max didn't use a sim card so that was my fault. I debated returning the phone for a lower model with a sim card option but I changed my mind and I got everything transferred over to eSim through my carrier. After that absolute headache, everything seemed to be working fine and then my screen started to randomly black out. If the sun hits my screen or I answer a call the screen immediately turns off (without my head near the sensor and on speakerphone). I did some troubleshooting and of course there's nothing online other than to update it or it must be a hardware issue. My luck would seem that's a hardware issue. As of right now, I've had this phone for close to a month and it blacks out every day. It's extremely frustrating because I don't/can't fork out $700 for another phone.As for the phone itself, it was fine visually, no major scratches. The battery life states "100%" and it charges as it should. The black tones in the phone are off meaning they're more for a gray and not completely black, like in the notes app on dark mode. I can't say that I'll buy another phone on Amazon. I'll probably do what I should've done in the first place and buy an iphone directly from Apple.
