They stay in!
I bought these because I’d seen some very expensive similar hairpins online, but couldn’t bring myself to spend that much on something I’ve not tried so didn’t know if they’d work for me. I bought these instead and they are really impressive. I was worried that they wouldn’t hold my hair in place, or they’d work their way out really quickly. They hold your hair really well, even my fine, slippy hair. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Worth a try before buying the pricey branded version
Really great for thick hair - stayed in brilliantly. Didn't hold so well on the thinner sections of hair.

Not good on fine thin hair
After reading rave reviews about this type of hair pin I was keen to try them. However I am so glad that I only bought these less expensive clips as for me they really do not work. I have fine thin hair and they just slide out. When I do manage to get them to stay I have no confidence that they will remain in place so overall, glad I tried them, glad I did not spend too much, but for me a waste of money.

Best bun holders bar none!
Bit of a learning curve if your using them for anything other than a bun, not sure they would replace Bobby pins for holding hair out the way, however they are the best for a bun. I have waist length average thickness hair and 3 of these hold my bun in the most secure way! Use them the same way as a hairstick and they are so solid.

Don’t hold my fine hair

These were slightly flimsy but kept my hair in place when it was small bits of hair, when I tried to put it all up, it didn’t stay in place.
