Not all at once
Whilst this item does indeed work and provide the functionality it advertises I was a little disappointed to discover that it will not provide all the functions at the same time. It is either input mode so that you can plug in sd cards, usb thumb drives, mouse, keyboard etc or in output mode so that you can output the display to a monitor or tv. Unfortunately if (like me) you were looking for a way to be able to hook your phone up to a monitor keyboard and mouse at the same time this is not the answer. Also for newer phones with higher power draw requirements be aware that this lists on my z3 as "Slow Charge" due to the low amp throughput for the power even when connected to a 2 amp power supply.

I was expecting too much
I bought this for my Lenovo Yoga Book. Was hoping I could charge the tablet while also using USB stick/SD card. You can't. It doesn't even allow you to charge the tablet.

You cant use the MHL and USB OTG at the same time which was why I bought it. Other than that its fine - I managed to recover the contents of my phone with a damaged screen although it would have been a lot easier if the USB has worked at the same time.

worked just perfectly for my samsung s5
perfect. I have used this to connect my Samsung S5 to my tv - as I had dropped my phone face down and the lcd has broken. It has sucessfully worked and I can now see screen on the tv. I've not been able to get the mouse to work, but as I can still swipe and touch the screen it is ok - just a bit of guess work whilst watching the tv screen

Does not work on S7
Can confirm this does not work with a galaxy s7 as they don't have mhl support. Should have checked before I bought it.

Very good! I've try to make backup to my phone with broken screen but my phone couldn't help me cuz after start was restarting again. This item is very good to share you're phone to TV (if you don't have a smart TV) BTW thank you!

HDMI port not working
The HDMI slot doesn't work - I tried it in different phones and with different cables still no luck. I only brought the device for that reason so for me its 1🌟
