Terro stands well above the rest for ant control
I have been using Terro products for ant control for about three years now. Prior to that I had always had a seasonal minor issue with ants inside the house. Nothing I had tried really worked 100%. My son recommended the Terro indoor baits and within days my 25 year ant problem was gone. I was so impressed with this product that I contacted Terro themselves and complimented them. They were super. Offered all kinds of additional help as well. Although the interior baits worked perfectly, I did still see signs of having ants outside. The anthills, the first day of summer invasion that lasted only a few days and just other random signs. I never much worried about it but when I saw these on sale here at Amazon I thought why not get rid of them entirely. Just like the indoor baits they were super easy to use, zero smell and no mess. Concise easy to follow directions and they don't get in the way of any yard work. Over the first week I started seeing them disappear. I am confident they will continue to do their job. I recommend any Terro product for anyone who is trying to resolve an issue with ants. Terro works 100% of the time.

It Works Fast
For years I've had nlack ants marvhing up towards the roofline, but mothing I used stopped them. I place 1 at the base of a tree they run up and down all day, 1 on each side of my frt porch, 1 outside of my carport near my patio. I saw the ants at the tree going inside the vile for about one day. Ants in every location are missing in action. Boy am I stoked

New style is flimsy for hard ground.
The new design is flimsy and they are difficult to push into firm ground without them bending. If your ground is not soft, I recommend using a tent stake or large screwdriver to make an initial hole, before trying to push these into the ground or they will bend. The old style easily went into hard ground and felt like they were firmly in place. These new ones are not firm in the ground and I think critters will knock them out much easier than the old ones. These are also hard to relocate when it's time to replace them. I have used the old ones for many years and the metal grants ant stakes before that, with wonderful results as long as I switch them out at least yearly. It would be nice if this new style had a sturdier pointed base that would go into firm ground and stay put.

Effective and Hassle-Free Ant Control!
I’ve tried a few different ant control products over the years, but TERRO Liquid Outdoor Ant Baits are by far the most effective. Within a day or two of setting them out, I noticed a major decrease in ant activity around my patio and garden areas. What I love most is how easy they are to use—just pop them in the ground and let them do their thing. The ants are clearly attracted to the bait, and it doesn’t take long before they bring it back to the colony. It’s a smart, long-lasting solution that actually tackles the root of the problem. They’re also really well designed for outdoor use—sturdy and weather-resistant. I’ve had them out through some rain and they held up great.Highly recommend if you’re dealing with persistent outdoor ant problems. I’ll definitely be keeping a box or two on hand from now on!

My go to brand for slowing down ant infestations
Ever since I discovered these several years ago, I started to buy all of their products in bulk. The outdoor kits, these specific yard spikes, the indoor bait traps, the bottle kits with the little cardboard squares that you put the bait on. Everything. If you have an issue with ants, I recommend getting a bait like this. Every once in awhile they would rear their ugly heads and I would put these down in the problem areas. They are so effective, they would resolve my issue within a week or two. I highly recommend consistently replacing the bait traps, making sure that they don't get dried out, but their price per unit is often quite affordable and it allows me to consistently place these.

Not meant for dry or compact soil
Terro is very good at making ant poison, and I’ve never had issues with it killing ants. That said, the T1812 had hard plastic and was spade shaped, so you could jam it into the ground. This one (the T1813) is like a plastic knife, and so it bends when you try to work it into tough dirt.If you have soft or freshly tilled soil, it’s fine… but if you’re like me and your soil is hard and dry, don’t buy this.

Best Product to Kill Ants FAST
I started using this brand because my Grandmother swore by it when she became a house wife in the 1930s. It has continued to live up to its name. I live in a very old home and ants can be a problem but not with this product.
