Eat What You Watch: A Cookbook for Movie Lovers

You may have caught Binging with Babish on youtube, with Andrew Rea creating his own recipes for food and drink from popular movies and TV series. We got the cookbook and made the recipe for the Big Kahuna burgers from Pulp Fiction and they were delicious! Not only does it inspire you to try tasty recipes from familiar films but also to check out new films and their recipes as well.It is a great idea coming up with recipes from some of the most mouth watering delights that you see on the big screen, but the great thing is that Babish is experimental and always up for a challenge. If a recipe doesn't turn out as expected tastewise, he will warn you in advance (Breakfast Dessert Pasta for one) but will show the benefits of making it or alternatively will make something more palatable in it's stead, although this is generally done more on the youtube channel.This recipe book is definetley good fun - it provides the perfect excuse to watch, make and taste.

Very nice quality, easy to follow recipes with handy conversions at the back. Includes a range of easy and difficult recipes. Tried a few which turned out quite well so good purchase for me!

Came with a few scratches and wears on it which was a bit frustrating as a present, however, the book itself is designed wonderfully, with great photographs and really interesting to browse through. If anyone likes cooking, or Babish himself, go for it! My only "concern" is that a lot of these recipes probably wouldn't be cooked in our household, but that's down to taste and preference.

So was excited by the title of this book thought brilliant sounds awesome but really just a book that will sit on my Kindle read once and none of the recipes inspired me. The pics looked nice the blurb was great but I think my expectations were higher and so was let down. Just me and my thoughts. I imagine there's people out there loving making these bits. :)

This was a lot of fun to read and try to place the various dishes! I may have to attempt the strudel :-)

My biggest grievance with this product is that most of the recipes I wanted to make from the 'Binging with Babish' Channel are absent from this which is very disappointing, also select pages are very glossy so fingerprints and other marks are painfully visible. On a positive note I have made many of the recipes from this cookbook and many of them turned out great. I would recommend this to any fan of Andrew's videos and content or those who've always wanted to make food from T.V and Films.

A really easy to follow collection of recipes that are both decadent and functional. I personally plan on making the cheese soufflé from Sabrina and the crème brûlée from Amélie as part of my anniversary dinner! If you are a fan of his YouTube series, there are recipes which haven't been featured on the show, as far as I'm aware.Additionally, Rea has my eternal gratitude as not only is there a handy dandy conversion chart for us users of the metric system, but also "translations" at the back if you don'the know what a "broiler" is in UK English.

After watching Babish grow from a Reddit post to a massive youtube channel covering multiple different topics. This book is still fantastic to this day. The recipes are delicious (depending on how well you follow them XD.) And there is such a wide variety thanks to where the recipes came from that you'll rarely be bored and easily find some new favourite meals. Can't recommend enough

Bought this for a friend who loves Andrew's online content. Beautiful photographs with a solid assortment of recipes to choose from. A good variety of levels of difficulty, so there's something for everyone of any skillset to start with.
