Sadly this product did not work for me. It would not seal so I am confused by all the great reviews. Maybe I just received a faulty one.

It's important to center your goyza dough skin (3.75") and press the middle to fill the well in the mold. Creases will be formed on each side.I use a 2 teaspoon cookie dough scoop for the filling.Hold the skin edges to prevent movement when placing the filling.DO wet the perimeter of the dough with water paying attention to the two side creases formed when you press the dough to fill the well.The video does NOT show this but the dough will not fully close unless it's done. Also the written instructions say this.Any excess filling will be sqeezed out before the crimping of the edges.If there is dough overlap following the crimping and dropping of the dumplings, you can still lift one side to reposition the dough evenly and place dumpling back into the press to reform perfectly.Have fun but press gently. Not sure of longevity of this press but it is effective once you develop your technique.
