These are lovely lights that give a nice warm glow under the canopy of our gazebo. They're lightweight and, since they're LED, I expect that the three AA batteries will last the entire Summer. The lights are bright enough to provide some nice ambient lighting but don't provide enough light that you could easily read a book under them at night.I give this a four-star rating instead of five only because o f the remote. It is a bit flaky and I found myself having to press some of the buttons multiple times before the lights would change.But since I wasn't looking for lights with a remote and the button on the battery pack is easily accessible, the remote issue is nothing more than a very minor inconvenience (I should note that I bought two strands of these and found the remotes from both packages to be lacking).I would definitely buy these again.

I placed these lights on my fence along my backyard patio! I wanted lights that automatically turn on and off on their own. It comes with a remote control and I used the timer control button. The lights give off a nice light, not too bright, very soft, but enough to light up the area. I have to say, they are still going strong throughout most of the summer and into fall. Hopefully, they last with just a battery change. I'm sure that time will come. Added Halloween lights to it, and once Christmas comes will exchange those for some green and or red lights. So pretty...I love them!

I like these. They are durable and work well so far (have had them up for about 5 days and we make sure not to leave them on to run battery down). I just thought they might be a little brighter. I was hoping we'd be able to play games on our patio table under these but they aren't bright enough for that. I may order a second set to give a brighter light on my patio table. All in all, I think they are a good value for the money.

First off, the lights aren't crazy bright which is amazing. They are so perfect. The bulbs are smaller then I had envisioned but it ain't no thing, its a very fitting size. I love all the different settings this remote has to offer, some of them are definetly fast pace and really makes your heart beat, so if you or your family has epilepsy do be cautious. But there are so many beautiful and magical modes at the same time. I bought it for my roomates new born, and he is in awe of the beautiful lights. His reaction was so worth every penny. The remote dimming and off/on buttons dont have any effect. It could be a defective remote. But regardless I would buy again.

I was looking to put remote lights around garland outside on the front door.Remote works ok, if your able to point the remote directly at the control box.I’m able todo, since we have a windows near the door.The lights are a soft white 💡, not really what I wanted.Looking into returning them.

These would be better for indoor use.I liked that it was remote controlled and had different options.I did not like that the globes were a LOT smaller than I thought they would be, and they weren't as bright as I had hoped.Also - NOT squirrel proof!!! I only had them up for maybe a month before the squirrels had completely destroyed them. I had another light set up for 15 years without a problem. Researching online why the squirrels chewed these ones, I found that if the lights look like food, they will take them and hide them. I am STILL finding little chewed up lights all over my yard.Total bummer.

I just received these, everything came out of the package working perfectly. I also purchased a string light curtain, which came with the same remote each of these string lights came with and they all respond simultaneously to one remote as long as the battery box is in range. Despite having 3 extra remotes now, I did find that to be a nice feature. I will be using these outdoors for an event mid-January, so I will see how they perform in the cold and possibly when it’s snowing. I will update this review if I have any issues with durability and battery life; however, I am pleased with this product right out of the box.

These are so cute at first, the light is warm and nice. The remote control isn't super intuitive and I had to press really hard on mine to get the buttons to register. I have had these for a few months and only used maybe 2 times a week and after 3 months the batteries died. So I recommend getting rechargable batteries for this or you'll spend a ton of money on new batteries, especially if you plan to use these more often.
