Body-Solid Olympic Adapter

This is not steel or iron, but plastic!!! All the sleeve is made of plastic and glue!! This product is not as solid as steel sleeve.

Doesn't fit to the bar properly, slides all over the place

Grundsätzlich ist der Adapter in Ordnung. Solides Material. Aber: Der Lochkreis ist für 30mm Hantelstangen zu klein. Der Adapter hat einen Lochkreisdurchmesser von 28 mm! Er passt daher nicht auf meine 30mm Stangen. Ich kann also nicht mehr als 1 Stern vergeben. Sorry! Bitte die Produktbeschreibung korrigieren.

I bought these for my leg extension/leg curl machine so that I can use Olympic plates..it works for me because I don't use huge weight and therefore the short construction isn't an issue...attaches well with an set screw type lock...it would be better if it was longer

These come in qty of one, so if you need two, order two. They are more for machines like a Latpull down or weight bench than barbells. I put over a 100 pounds on the two of mine last night and used them for my lat and seated rows and they worked perfect. I saw people complaining about the set screw and was concerned. However, it tightened up, no movement, worked perfect. Great invention, does what it should. Would buy again.

I ordered five of these. They will accept about a 8.25" post. So glad that that was the case since the cable crossover and cam leg ext./curl machine have posts that are at most 8.5" but all greater than 8". Locking down the set screw tightly, I noticed no warping of the sleeve and all my plates slide on and off easily. Locked it down so it cannot be rotated unless I really muscle it. Mine were all rounded ends so I was a little worried that they wouldn't cover most, if not all, of the standard post. It was a double pleasant surprise since I was expecting a cut end and would have been satisfied with that, especially if it didn't cover the whole length of the posts.
