Puzzle Book for Seniors: 100 Large Print Assorted Puzzles Paperback – Large Print, 18 April 2017

This was bought for my senior mum with poor eyesight. The dimensions of this book are listed on the description. There re no examples shown of the print size inside. I took a gamble due to the reasonable price, I think some of the text is a little too small for Mum. We may sit and do these together. I've added my review with photos to help other buyers make an informed decision. See examples. I personally don't think its necessary to title this book as 'Seniors' perhaps 'large print is more appropriate.

The mix of puzzles is good and most have large enough print. However, the answers (in the back pages) are standard size. Whilst this prevents cheating (!) for our visually impaired relative, it also means they can’t check their own answers.

Puzzle Book could of been great. Nice & large, nice puzzles in.BUT THESE PROBLEMS:1. No 41 crossword, duplicated on No 31.2. Voweless puzzle error, missing letter was a “D”, last I looked that’s NOT a vowel!3. Some of the clues didn’t match the answer.4. Too many sudokus & number searches (just a preference).But I still enjoyed the book. Just wish there weren’t so many errors! As this is for seniors, it could be confusing with someone with dementia.

Mum, who is 98, still likes to do crosswords, but found the ones in the newspaper too small, so this is perfect for her.

I like this book of puzzles it has easy ones up to more difficult. The main thing is the print is large and fantastic. Value for money, brilliant if you have low vision.Thank you
