Saw this on Amazon and thought why not (I have a fetish for torches,.according to my wife) nice price, if its no good then I haven't wasted too much cash.Once it arrived, opened it and thought, blimey it's a bit bigger than I thought. Turned it on and went through the functions. Quite impressed with it, not sure if i will use the cigarette lighter bit for that, but bits of cotton to start the fire next time I,m stuck outdoors in deepest Hampshire it will be perfect, the whistle is loud and should bring search parties from Dorset and further afield running to my aid. Wasn't till I read the instructions that I realised that to get the brightest setting, you have to press and hold the main button in, Holy cow don't don't his when you are looking at it. I thought I had burnt my eyeballs out, I had black spots dancing in my vision for quite a while after that.I have used the torch when working and it proved very good, so good several members of my team went and brought them to.Great emergency light, is kept clipped on my work rucksack ready for use. Battery lasts quite well too.

Great item. Very bright light light. Battery last ages. I took it to a festival and it done it's work awesomely. And that lighter, essential when you are a smoker and no-one is around to save you with flame. Highly recommended for the price, perfect for festivals and/or camping.

Don't buy for all the gimmicky extras. The screw bits are tiny and will probably get lost in days. The whistle (once found) pathetic. No idea if the cigarette lighter even works as don't smoke and it's so random!The light itself is really bright and the hook/stand/magnet useful and the reason for buying.

One of the best things I've ever bought for camping, great value and the cigarette lighter is fantastic too. Well built and so cheap, what a bit of kit. Very bright

Firstly it's a lot brighter than I expected.Its not huge, but bigger than I expected, so check the dimensions.The engineering is generally good with the exception of the socket for the bits which is over sized.I also found a whistle, lighter, box cutter and bottle opener.There are also loads of light modes, I'm not really sure why they exist, but they might come in useful.

It has a lot of features for what is basically a torch, most of which don't make a bit of sense ... its got a flat head screwdriver and a crosshead screwdriver (way too small for anyone to use), a whistle, a heat coil for a smoke and a magnet.However, it is powerful as hell. I can be in a brightly lit room, shine it and see where its lighting up.

Hangs on belt loop,battery life longer than previous.

The spec that is mentions in factual and they do work, however. This thing is LARGE, it fits comfortably in the palm of a large male hand. Good if you want some thing industrially sized and to be fair, well built. Or if you wanted to put it in your pocket or hang indiscreetly from a bag, jacket or rucksack, FORGET IT!
