I ordered the XL size first. Too small for a size 10.5 foot, they went back to Amazon. The XXL size is perfect, easy enough to pull on but not too tight to be a struggle. They fit the task of providing more power for kicking. They really help my freestyle stroke for laps swimming! There is some flex in the rubber but the short length of the fin doesn't need a lot of flexibility to work. These are a good value!

I am an adult just learning how to swim. While learning breathing techniques, these were very helpful to keep me moving through the water while not having to concentrate on my feet. They propelled me through the water with ease, and were quite fun once I got used to them. I did not give it five stars for comfort as they are very hard. I had already purchased larger flippers, and those are so cumbersome to try to walk with, and these propelled me through the water just as fast as the large flippers. These will be much easier to take in a suitcase when we travel.

At 73, regular swim fins wear me out. These fins are great. I can move through the water easier and longer. I think the price is reasonable also.

I wear a size 9 in women's shoes, and I bought the large just to be safe. They fit well even though there is a good half inch or just a bit more space of room in the length of the toe section. They don't slip off and if I ever need to buy another pair, I will buy the same size. Great for leg toning while doing laps and helps speed up the time it takes to do a lap. I really like them!
