Q: Slightly stupid question, but I bought these assuming they were stripboards but not sure how to use them! Any guidance please?

I had the same thought. I did some checking on the internet. The suggestions I found were: 1)You can link 2 adjacent holes just by soldering between them, (Just what you try to avoid with stripboard 2)When inserting components with long legs, use the excess leg bent over to bridge the gap. 3)Use the excess leg of the first component soldered in place in a hole, then solder the second component leg (bent into a hook) onto it. 4)Use (insulated) wire to bridge larger gaps. I have tried all of these suggestions with some success, but my results are nowhere as neat as I have got using stripboard. If your soldering skills are up to it, (and mine are not really, yet) these board will allow more flexibility in layout than stripboard. I suggest practising your soldering on a spare board to get the hang of the different techniques before using expensive components. Good Luck

Q: Can i use 0.1” screw terminals on this board?

Hi CB90, Thanks for your interest in this item. The diameter of the holds that used to connect wires is 0.6mm, and 1.9mm for the 4 holds at the corners. As long as your screw terminals is small than the holds, it should fit, and you can use tin soldering to fix them. Thanks and I hope this helps. The pads are isolated on each side. They do not link through.

Q: Can you connect any holes to each other, are they all unconnected until you connect them?

They are all unconnected. You can solder to all of them. I have bridged adjacent holes with small pieces of wire and solder (although you can just bridge them with solder), so joining components together is fairly painless.
