Dr Amen brain health excellent read!
Love this book. It supports my professional career. Interesting. Dynamic approach by Dr. Amen on how to take care of your brain to improve your living.

My son wanted this book for Christmas! He says he loves it! So good that he wants me to read. Sounds like a must read.

As a long-time follower of Dr. Amen, I eagerly awaited the release of this book; which has exceeded my expectations and has genuinely had a profound impact on my life. In this insightful read, Dr. Amen shares the knowledge he has gained from over 40 years of clinical practice and research in a way that is accessible and easy to understand. The examples provided from his experience with hundreds of thousands of brain scans give the book a solid foundation in science, while still being relatable and engaging. One of the aspects I appreciate most about "Change Your Brain Every Day" is the format. Dr. Amen has broken the book down into daily habits and practices that can be easily incorporated into your life. This approach makes it simple to digest the wealth of information provided and implement the strategies in a practical manner. The book truly embodies the notion of changing your life "one tiny step at a time." Since incorporating the daily habits and practices outlined in this book, I've already noticed a significant improvement in my overall well-being, memory, and mental clarity. Thank you, Dr. Amen!

Great info leading to sales funnel all too often
I enjoyed the tips in this book and overall found them very helpful. What I didn't enjoy was the frequency in which the book leads out to Dr. Amen's sales funnel. Was buying the book not enough for you? Come to amen clinics for a brain scan, buy this $150 course for ADD, buy my supplements, etc. It really tarnishes what would otherwise be a great book and also makes this book shallow as his ultimate goal appears to be making more money off of the reader in the guise of helping the reader with his or her brain. I don't doubt that the helpful intention is there but at some point we must be genuinely helpful and less greedy.

Practical every day steps and cases supporting better brain health & wellness
It takes time to change daily habits and behaviors and build new healthy ones. The daily practices offered are valuable supporting a process of change. It’s exciting and motivating to see this framework. Dr Amen is very clear and understandable when describing conditions and diagnoses from ADHD / ADD, Anxiety, distinguishing Dementia from Depression, Addiction, Substance Use, Bipolar Disorder and others. This is a strong resource for putting strategies into practice and good use of interesting cases. The clinical scientific citations are a good extension for further reading, learning, and exploration. I find Dr Daniel Amen’s call to action with daily steps so helpful to stay on target. I can do one of Today’s Practice steps every day! I highly recommend this book. It reduces shame and stigma from mental health which is brain health. It is valuable for clinicians, coaches, clients, and families. I’m looking forward to sharing this with more colleagues, friends, family and clients.

Good & helpful, however....
Helpful. However, I prefer that ones own interpretation of creation to be stated as an opinion or suggestion in a book or lecture, rather than as a 'fact', especially, when presenting it along with medical & scientific data. The YouTube discussion/interview I watched differs from what's in this book. So, the book is a little different than what I expected. That being said, there is a lot of good & impowering information in this book. The only down side is the poor quality brain scan pictures used as examples....you can hardly tell what they are showing as a difference in the brain.
