I was looking for a metal shoehorn because previously I used the plastic IKEA ones of similar length, but they all broke within a year or so. So far this is the best option I can find on Amazon or at any other store.The length is really nice to be able to put on your shoes standing up, not having to kneel or bend over much. If you have physical limitations or cramped living quarters it really makes a difference.Another metal shoehorn I tried quickly bent out of shape, but this one is more sturdy.Edit: The metal is bending slightly under strain of putting tight shoes on, so I can't give it five stars, but still better than alternatives.

When i got the shoe horn it was wrapped only in bubble wrap that was open on one end, the shoe horn was bent and was very easy to straihten out, so not sure it will last long, since it bends so easily.

Product fine. Just if you think ordering two and shipping would be free look out. I have ordered out of the country before and bought five of a product with free shipping and got the items in a week and still had free shipping. For some reason these get lost when you order. I was in no hurry for them as the plastic ones from Ikea only now one has broken and it was only an inch I lost. Rounded the broken off and was still using it for work shoes. I will say I feel secure with these s steel ones.

If you need a quick delivery, stay away from this purchase. It took over a month to deliver the shoehorn and the delivery date was a moving target that kept on getting pushed back. Poor customer service and no tracking information other than the item is shipped from Thailand. Once it arrived, the quality appears to be okay based on the price but not very sturdy. Appears to bend easily. The edges are also very sharp and not comfortable to handle. I actually bought a plastic shoehorn that seems to work just as well. Good luck and happy shopping.

I have a pair of rain shoes that are close to impossible to get on with out a horn. I have thin feet but they are slip ons withtight elastic. I was considering cutting the elastic but really didn’t want to as the fit was perfect once I got them on. This makes it so much easier to put them on. I can do it standing up where I used to struggle with them even sitting down.

It bent the very first time I used this item. I barley put any weight on it. It's super flimsy.

Great to help put your shoes on. It is steel so it won't break and will last a long time. The long handle helps me to not have to bend over after my operation.
