Great plane for BNF - beginner or skilled 3D!
Been flying for years and have had numerous flat foamie planes. Many were depron or some other foam so having foam safe CA and an accelerant that was foam safe was key for minor repairs. I'm talking about when I was hovering it on the prop and the wind caught it and it flipped onto it's wing - wingtip only. Replacement parts are so easy to come by - get some flat carbon fiber spars and CA and stickers or tape and you'll be fine. Won't be a pretty, but still flies until you are ready for the hanger queen.Assembly took maybe 20 minutes - lots of screws, adjusting and connecting push rods. I picked up the BNF and binding to me NX8 was easy. I tried binding in safe and it works, just not my style. I haven't fussed with flight modes, but the receiver and radio will do it so it's just time.Flying characteristics - watch some videos. The 600 mAh pack is light, very light and it wants to fly that way. Any wind - throw on the 850 and go further forward with the battery and it will fly like it is on rails. No bad traits, it's flat so there is no weird coupling. Knife edge requires almost no input, inverted harriers are so easy, regular are too but it locks in inverted way better. Tons of power on a 3S batt - BNF has a 15A esc, 9x4 prop and it's fine... It'll take off out of your hand, within feet on the ground and land in a short distance or plop. Great plane - a tad on the higher end, but everything is vetted - screw it together and bind. I could have bought at a hobby shop and been flying in under 30 minutes, nice!! RF has the model in it's sim - flys a tad lighter, needs more weight or the wing surface area on the sim seemed too large in comparison to real life. Would recommend, with the plane and all electronics - kind of a no brainer..

Fun to fly!
This is a great all-around plane. It looks super cool on the ground and in the air. True 3D enthusiasts would say it's too heavy. It is heavier than my other 3D planes BUT my super light planes require verry still air to enjoy flying. This plane will hover, knife edge and invert as easy as any 3D plane I own and can be flown in less-than-ideal conditions. It will also fly like a traditional sport plane reasonably well. It has massive rudder, aileron and elevator authority. It's great for flying in small places, you can hand launch and land this unit in a single parking spot. It is not a fast plane, and the flight time is a little short but will do a 10-minute+ flight using 850ma 3S pack if throttled conservatively. Using a 2S pack would fly but not ideal.

Flies real well. Not fast. Great for learning 3D. The only drawback is it's fragile
Like the flight performance, downside, it's a very fragile aircraft

Great plane to learn 3D with.
The lighter flat foamies are easier to learn on but the Eratix is my preferred model for 3D. It makes the transition to a bigger model much easier. The super light flat foamies are like flying a maple leaf.I’ve had two Eratix and both have had two servos fail. Both rudder servos failed and one my first one the aileron servo failed, the elevator servo on the second failed.I bought a twisted hobbies and went right back to the Eratix. The Twisted Hobbies is so light that you can’t fly it in any wind. I really wanted to like it but it’s over priced and the quality was not good. Putting the twisted hobbies together was not fun and I enjoy working on stuff. The landing gear didn’t fit right and I just feel ripped off from Twisted Hobbies.

Great 3D plane and gentle flier.
Fun to fly, but a little flimsy for the price. So far I've flown it in "Safe" and on low rates onlyand it is VERY agile!

Super Fun
If you are new to Flying RC or maybe you want to get into 3D flying this is a great plane. Make sure you get the proper batteries with the IC2 connectors or the proper adapter. Flys great with both a 650mah and 850mah batteries. Also I would recommend grabbing some Foam Safe CA or glue or tape. It’s a great little plane but of course if your 3ding you may crash.

The little monster that could
The media could not be loaded. Great Plain have owned probably eight of them in the past year. Great plane for beginner I've modified mine substantially first thing you're going to need definitely whether you modify it or not is replace the landing gear if you're going to modify it I would suggest using a 3530 1100 KV OutRunner motor 50 amp ESC 11-in prop and 4S 1100 mAh battery also on all of these planes you will need to replace your L Ron servo they rattle after about three or four flights get yourself a metal servo worth the money other than that it's a great plane I've had a lot of fun over the past year also have put a steering on the rudder and have significantly shortened the landing gear used aluminum rods which go through and Shore up the the wings if you modify it in this manner you will have yourself a ball plain clocked it 62 mph hovers no problem you will need to put a counterweight on the back to get your CG correct it's an incredible plane I just wish Spectrum would take a little bit more pride in their product as far as the landing gear and the servos and the motor plane is a Powerhouse if it were correctly engineered good luck flying have fun

Fantasic flyer for 3-d aerobatics
I am a 3-d flyer I like the way it does knife edge figure 8, hovers great hover and hover torque slow rolls, and I am working rolling torque rolls , Precison upright landings on grass. 5 minutes flight time on 3s 650 ma 75C and 850 ma 75C 7:30 minutes flight timeIt has some construction weak points, If you add extra glue along the body seams will help.
