I do like this lamp. it is not heavy sturdy but it is sturdy enough. looks nice. It could have a longer cord to my liking though.

We love this lamp. Simple, sleek & sturdy design. Easy construction and ready to use. It comes with a nice Edison style bulb, lovely warm light. Love the foot switch as well. Overall a great investment.

Super easy assemble. Cute & stylish.My one complaint is that the poles were rusted actually & covered in a black paint coating to hide the fact that it's an old recycled piece of material. (The paint started to break and chip off when I was assembling).If I ignore that fact, the lamp is great.I love the foot step on/off switch.The light bulb supplied w/ the lamp is a rosey yellow glow. Hopefully they make these special light bulbs in a white light! More light!

This lamp set the mood. It went perfect with my theme. It was the perfect choice.

I love how this lamp looks. and it was easy to put together. You must know there is a "locking ring" that is screwed in place for safekeeping. You must unscrew it to remove, and then it can be used to secure the shade. Also, because the shape is metal mesh (which looks great), the bulb is visible and is blindingly bright. I took another reviewer's advice & covered it with a handmade shade of parchment paper. I had to secure that with tiny decorative clothespins. I could buy a lower wat bulb, but it wouldn't make as good a reading lamp.

I honestly figured for the price it would be kind of cheap looking, it is just the opposite! I am so glad I bought this! I also like that you step on the button to turn on, versus trying to find a the switch underneath the lamp shade.
