Great lights for outdoors
Great purchase. Look great and have several easy to set programs. Using it outdoors in all kinds of weather. Has now been going for 6 hours per day since mid-December '16 on the same batteries. Recommended.

Rusty after 3 months
We bought these to use at Christmas and were fab. Have just gone to put up again for a family party and the battery unit has gone rusty, so no longer work. I tried to register thenproduct when I first got it, but had no reply to the email i sent. Disappointing.

Lights - Dissapointed with remote control range
The lights arrived in good time and the glow of the lights look lovely however I'm very disappointed with the remote control function which only works within 1.5 meters distance from the light receiver. (I have made sure the batteries are good quality and new)The whole purpose of buying these lights was because of the remote control so I could operate them from inside my house to the outside trees which is where the lights are currently (roughly 3.5 meters distance away) having to walk outside to switch them on and off defeats the whole purpose of buying them and I feel I have been mislead with the remote control function and feel the seller needs to advertise the operational distance in the advert.

Otherwise I am pleased.
These are long enough to cover a 5ft tree. They look lovely in my garden. The only reason i didn't give five stars is the the remote control range is very limited and the lights do not come on automatically. Otherwise I am pleased.
