Great precision scribe for metal work
Works great for precision marking for my metal work. Many replacement tips but haven’t needed them yet.

Decently made. Lots of extra tips. You’ll never run out. Tips stay in the pen pretty well but they can fall out.

It works as described
Very good scribes! The tungsten carbide tips are welded to a steel rod (if it was all tungsten carbide, it would probably be 10x the current price) which fits and clamps perfectly in the holder. As described, it will scribe glass, ceramic, hardened steel, etc. Very satisfied with the product.

Great for scribing microscope slide covers for model building windows
This is an off-label type use: I use these to scribe very thin microscope slide covers to make windows for HO scale model railroad structures. These work great. Some folks say you need a diamond tipped scribe to cut the slide covers for model building, but . . . these seem to work great for me. I've never used a diamond tipped one (which are more expensive), but I don't feel the need to, because these work great.
