Tree Man by Hieronymus Bosch from Garden of Earthly Delights

If you combine one of the most disturbing artists (Bosch), with his most famous work (The Garden of Earthly Delights), his most iconic image (Boat Shoe Man), and combine it with Paramore you end up with a remarkable, 3D replica.I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and detail of this statuette. The statuette itself is small, but has weight. Each detail appears to be carefully handpainted, from the hair, to the eyes, to the boat shoes. Extremely well done. There are even tiny felt pads on the bottom of the statuette, so that it doesn't scratch whatever surface you place it on.

Unquestionably one of my favorite purchases in quite some time! My longtime interest in anything Bosch, coupled with the unique and unusual nature of this particular item, cements its place as a longtime conversation piece. I've placed it upon my desk at work for all visitors to see and admire. And see and admire they have. As I now am aware that there are more Bosch pieces available, I'll be back to purchase some more. Before it's all over, I think I'll own the whole collection. Anyone care to recommend a good curio cabinet? Eternal thanks to BigBlocky! for making this gem available!
