Streetwize SWTT50 Trailer Hitch Lock Bag/ Header

I have just bought an Anssems GT-500 trailer for taking all the camping gear, which if you know your trailers is one of the best mae and highly desirable - especially to thieves. So I have been looking for something to both deter the opportunist and slow down the determined thief. I also wanted something to lock the hitch onto the 50mm tow ball when in use.My hitch has a small keyhole on one side that does not go straight through, so a padlock device was inappropriate. I took a gamble on this little lock as it looked like it might fit and rotate within the keyhole and thus lock the handle into the hitch, either on or off the toe ball. At this price, the gamble was not going to exactly break the bank.It works a dream and only protrudes (on my trailer) only a couple of mm, so nigh on impossible to hit with a hammer, never mind break off.Very impressed.

Brilliant wee item. I was sceptical about it as it was going onto the hitch of a £13,000 Caravan but its absolutely brilliant.Very snug fit and very strong. The only way you would remove this without a key is by drilling it out and i dont think a thief would want the noise.If you ever told me a i could secure my Caravan for under £5 id have said you were mad! But it is infact true))

For very little money this extra lock fitting effectively makes your tow hitch secure if left in a car park and you don't want to unhitch and lock up whatever you are towing. I use this on a jet ski (Indespension) trailer. It won't fit all trailer hitches. It simply slots into a recess in the hitch and once locked - prevents the release lever being operated. It is only made of brass - so any determined attack with a drill would easily over come it.The keys are a bit flimsy - so be careful when jiggling the key inside the lock or it may snap (keep the spare key with you !)

People mine that it’s not a great fit but had no probs just don’t force push in out and wiggle a little

bought it as my other trailer got nicked (thanks fuzz, not interested were you) Hoped this would secure my little erde trailer, but 90% sticks out so all you have to do is tap it with a hammer and its off. Will stop a thief who hasn't got a hammer or bit of stone, but that's all

Seems to be OK although didn't fit my Ifor WIlliams hitch. Am fairly new to the trailer stuff so was looking for something to secure my trailer. Sadly this isn't it but is looks OK for the price and I am sure I will find a use for it somewhere.

Have to say it does the job very well. Feel secure knowing that my trailer is safe from all those that don't have what I have still. Very good would use the seller again.

Total rubbish, waste of money doesn't fit properly. Save your money I wish I had. This should not be advertised as a lock for this catch.

Produit identique à la description. Double sécurité :- En route la remorque ne peux pas se détacher avec le système en place.- A l'arrêt impossible de détacher la remorque de la voiture sans la clé.Bref de la tranquilpité pour pas cher !

Bin gar nicht zufrieden , das ist mir noch nicht passiert .Warum kann man den Artikel ncht richtig auf der Seite hier in Szene setzen , nein da wird ein Bild inklusive Verpackung hier eingesetzt .und als Dankeschön bekommt man nicht mal einen gratis Rücksendeaufkleber zugesendet und soll die Rücksendung noch SELBST BEZAHLEN ?Nie wieder !!!

Article de mauvaise qualité. Très déçu. 1er tour de clé sans forcer et elle a cassé dans la serrure. Heureusement que jai reussi enlever la serrure de ma remorque...
