Element Case Ion 6 Carbon Fibre Case for iPhone 6 - Black

It was a nice case while it lasted. I liked the design of this case and couldn't wait to get one. When I did I loved it, however, that love soon came to an end when the case came away at the sides and I couldn't get a refund even though the case was only a few months old. I tried another element case which was twice the price thinking surely it must last longer but that one lasted a few weeks before breaking. Elements products are poorly made and they don't seem to care about their customers only the money. For that reason I will never buy anything made by Element ever again.

Yes, if the Great Detective was still around then I'm sure he would be using one of these on his iPhone 6! I've dropped my iPhone on tarmac, concrete and on the metal walkway on the mile hike to the Ryanair gates in Terminal 1 at Dublin Airport and both the phone and the case remain perfectly intact! The case adds 'grip' functionality to the iPhone - especially if you're palms are slippery on a hike, a jog or the beach! It doesn't 'bulk up' the iPhone the way a lot of the 'flip covers' do and so it lives comfortably in my jeans' pocket at work and play. ELEMENTary really!

It's a really good case. I love Element products. it has protected my phone when i drop it. However, ever since the day I received it the cantre carbon fibre bit keeps popping out from the rubber surround on the top and bottom corners of the left side.Other than that its pretty great.

Love it..... But it's falling to pieces after only 4 months... Very disappointing. My last element case on my old iPhone 4 lasted 4yrs and was still in good condition when I upgraded to the iPhone 6

£33 for a piece of plastic! Nothing like the pictures, which looked really good quality and better than it turned up. Dnt waste ya money! If I wanted eBay crap I would have brought from eBay .!!!

I love Element cases but this version is terrible - the plastic case has lines scored into it and the plastic fails at this point causing the case to fall apart. Amazon replaced the first one free of charge but the replacement has failed in the same way after 4 months usage

Nachdem das Ion-Case für mein 4S mir 5 Jahre wirklich klasse Dienste geleistet und bei etlichen Abstürzen das 4S vor jeglichem Bruch bewahrt hat, habe ich für mein neues 6S wieder das Ion gekauft. Am Design gibt es für mich nichts zu meckern. Mir gefällt es und über Geschmack kann man nicht streiten. Leider muß ich aber sagen, das einige der Tugenden des alten Ion leider verloren gegangen sind. Zum einen die Materialanmutung bzw Auswahl. Das alte Case war aus weicherem Kautschuk am Rahmen gefertigt. Damit hatte ich eine gute Rutschfestigkeit in der Hand und Abfederung/Schutz bei Abstürzen. Das neue Ion fühlt sich wesentlich härter an und liegt nicht so sicher in der Hand. Ob es Stürze genau so gut wegsteckt, wage ich ebenfalls fast zu bezweifeln. Des weiteren ist das Material dünner und der Rahmen steht auch nicht mehr so weit über das Display vor. Damit verringert sich ebenfalls ein gewisser Schutzfaktor. Was mich aber am meißten stört, ist die Ungenauigkeit bei den Außsparungen an der Unterseite, vor allem am Kopfhöreranschluß und am Ton Ein/Aus Schalter an der Seite. Wie man auf den Bildern sehen kann, sitzt das Case mit seinen Öffnungen nicht mittig auf dem 6S.Das hat zur Folge, das kaum ein Klinkenstecker für ein Audiokabel z.B. fürs Auto paßt. Ich mußte ganz schön suchen, bevor ich etwas passendes gefunden habe. (zur Info: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B016ZOLJVS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Schlanke Stecker und hält bis jetzt.) und der Schalter zum Stummschalten an der Seite ist nur mit wirklich spitzen Fingernägeln zu bedienen. Des weiteren "klappen" meiner Meinung nach die Ecken des Case für mich leichter vom Handy weg. Ich glaube, die Probleme sind alle dem schlankerem Design des Ion für das 6S geschuldet. Deshalb bin ich mit dem Ion leider nicht ganz so glücklich, habe es aber auf Grund des für mich schicken Designs doch behalten.Nachtrag 20.4.2018Leider haben sich meine Zweifel an der Haltbarkeit mitlerweile bestätigt. Nach nun nicht ganz 2 Jahren löst sich das Ion komplett in seine Bestandteile auf. Die Platte auf der Rückseite löst sich und die Ecken klappen jetzt bei jeder Gelegenheit vom Handy weg. Hat also bei weitem nicht die Haltbarkeit wie das Ion für das 4s. Positiv sei aber vermerkt, das es mein 6s bei einigen Stürzen doch zuverlässig geschützt hat.

Am Anfang war ich sehr begeistert von der Element ION Hülle, hatte schon alle iPhone Hüllen seit dem 4er iPhone von Element ... Und alle leben noch und sind auch in Benutzung.Doch jetzt beim 6er Case von Element, lässt die Qualität sehr zu Wünschen übrig! Keine zwei Monate und sie löst sich in ihre Bastandteile auf.PS: Ich mache die Hülle ein mal die Woche vom iPhone ab & reinige sie mit einem feuchten Tuch, das sollte sie ja wohl noch hin bekommen!

Super praktisch, sehr robust und geiles design! Vor allem die habtik ist angenehm! Knöpfe kann man sehr gut bedienen! Bravo
