How does it compare with other cadbury chocolate available in the US? I love the chocolate covering the famous cadbury eggs.

The Cadbury here in the states is distributed by Hershey (they were basically in a snit that Cadbury was outselling them). Also, the official Cadbury from Europe uses the real ingredients only (real milk, cream, sugar etc). Unlike here where they will use HFCS & the other additives they use. I have actually had Cadbury while in Ireland, there is a BIG difference in taste. I would rather order Cadbury & other products from there because they don't use HFCSS & other additives since they are banned in Europe.

I am curious. Is this SOLiD milk chocolate? Why is it called "flake"? Does it fall apart before you can eat it? Is it dry and crumbly?

Hi Pink Breadsticks. I'm a Welsh/American and moved over here in 1998. I have eaten Cadbury's Flakes for forty plus years. now to answer your question. They are not sold, it's literally a tall piece of many flakes stuck together. I NEVER take the flake completely out of the wrapper as there will be some flakes fall of, to be eaten later by tipping the wrapper up and eating the pieces!! British Cadbury's anything is NOTHING like the Hershey equivalent over here. It melts faster in warm hands, and the taste is FAR superior!!The ice cream vendors in Britain would stick a flake in a soft icecream cone. Delicious. You can also easily decorate the tops of cakes and puddings and trifles with small flakes by rolling between your fingers over the item. It's not 'flat'largish flakes, it's more like very thin shoestring flakes. I hope I've answered your question. Sorry about the length of it.Wendy

No nuts or peanuts. Just flakes of lovely chocolate. I do not have any right now to read a label, but they are only available in Europe and I bought them there first.

Fantastic. Cadbury’s really is the best chocolate, and the Flake is in a league of its own, super light, delicate layers that melt fast and crumbly in the most satisfying way. It tastes rich and creamy without being too heavy, and it feels like a little “treat yourself” moment every time. Pro tip: it’s amazing crumbled over ice cream (if you can resist eating it straight).
