I have only used them on softer woods and metals, but they did work very well. That is why my star rating is a 4. Can’t say how they preform on harder materials.

Don't fall for the cheap imitation drums.

Just buy these. They're just over $.50 a piece, and they last longer than the larger quantity knockoff ones you can find. I have the standard Dremel drum, so I'd rather be sanding than constantly replacing the drum (if you have the quick attach mandrel, then swapping is probably easier) These last as long as I'd expect. I used 5/6 of these for my project, but the amount of time it saved me sanding, and allowed me to sand effectively was well worth it. I've bought other Dremel sanding drums in the 6 pack and also recommend them. I only buy these because of their durability and not having to constantly swap drums.
