Essie Gala-Vanting Couture Gel Polish

A lovely deep red, which is great for the winter months. Easy to apply and no UV lamp required.

What’s not to like about Essie polishes I’ve always bought them as they apply and cover extremely well and this colour is particularly gorgeous, I had ordered one then ordered another two 😁great value for money 👍

I have been using dip powder for years and never thought this would last for that long. I do couple of coats and then I apply the Essie gel couture clear top coat and my nails last for about a week!!! I love it and it is not harsh on my nails ☺️

Bought Gala venting colour and top coat. Unfortunately they don't last even one day. Despite some good reviews I will not recommend them.

Sehr schöne Farbe, nur leider hält sie gerade mal einen Tag, dann sind erste Farbsplitter zu sehen. Bin ich von essie leider gar nicht gewohnt.

I do my nails and toes myself. Toe polish always lasts awhile, even regular one but always had chips second day on hands. This polish is awesome! No chips, looks nice all week long! Now, it does get like cracks but I use matte finish so you can see them only when you stare at your nails. I had dark red essie couture. 2 coats, no base, then matte finish. It surely lasts. I tried putting refresh coat on and then matte finish but that only lasts another day or two, cracks more so not too good. Also tried just covering it with matte after a week but it also lasts about a day and then cracks come through again. But 1 week for me works vs doing gel. This one comes off with regular polish remover. I used this one twice so far and 1 of these times I was in the pool half a week so results still were the same.

Gala-vanting is a truly iconic shade of brick red that compliments virtually every skin tone. Easy-to-apply and stays shiny for over a week—longer if you apply a second layer of the gel couture top coat after a few days. Be aware that it is actually about a half a shade darker when applied than the color looks like in the bottle.

Please ignore the terrible job I did on my nails, I haven't gone back and fixed them up! But WOW, this polish is AMAZING! I LOVE it so much! I never write reviews but I had to, because this is the best nail polish I've ever used in my life. It's smooth, high shine, and so forgiving! The brush itself is shaped so that you can get even coverage without having to go back over it a million times. The color is a beautiful red wine color. I will absolutely be getting this in more colors! I highly recommend getting the top coat with it! It seals it beautifully, giving you the salon look from home! It also dries so quickly without having to use heat! Love it!
