BRIKSMAX Led Lighting Kit for LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon,Compatible with LEGO 75257 Building Blocks Model- Not Include the Lego Set

As someone using a lighting kit for the first time, I was worried, but this kit was super intuitive and easy to use, so I got along fine with no issues. I don't know if its intentional too, but the battery pack fit perfectly in the underbelly of the falcon, keeping itself wedged in with friction alone. Very satisfying. Would've given 5 stars but the cockpit lights kinda sucked. Placement and colouring seemed out of place and didnt really do a great job of illuminating the rights things. Had to take some liberties there to make it look good. The rest is great!

The fitting is a bit fiddly and the instructions could be a little bit clearer but overall happy with the light system.

This item was a little fiddly to fit but I think that is more to my sausage fingers than the actual kit. It looks amazing when it’s powered up. Will be looking at other kits by this company for my other models.

The media could not be loaded.  This kit is not for children and as an adult I found the installation challenging at times and it took me several hours of fiddling to get the wires and LED’s in place. As someone who now wear glasses due to being 50. I had to use magnifying eyeglasses over the top to plug the connectors.The common issues with the other reviews is the sticky pads for the rear lights. They just don’t stick to the LED’s (maybe because they are small and once you’ve handled them to get them off the backing paper they just loose their adhesion.)Also the method of powering it all let’s it down - a large battery box for 3 AA batteries or a USB cable both have far too short cable to connect to the model. shame it couldn’t be powered by button cells that could have been fixed to the undercarriage.For some reason the Red LED’s in my kit don’t flash, which was annoying as the flashing LED’s add some dynamism to the model and one of the reasons I made the purchase. (I’ve emailed their customer services but have yet had a response).When completed it does change the look and feel of the model and for someone who displays rather than plays with their Lego kits this does take the kits up a level. Is it worth the £35 asking price, if I’m honest No it’s not and I would say this is for diehard modellers who are happy to spend over the odds for the look it provides.This would have been a five star review, but it lost a star for the adhesive pad issue and another star for the supplied Red LED’s not flashing.If Briksmax customer services ever reply and sort out the Red LED issue satisfactorily for me then I’ll add the star.

I gave the kit to my grandson (8 years old) along with the Lego kit. He says it’s great, but some of the connections are tiny and quite tricky. The lights really add to the finished product.

I awaited this set of lights with great anticipation. While installing them the first thing to fail was a male connector that broke off from a wire under no pressure. This wire was crucial in connecting four sets of lights and meant that one set is unable to be connected. Two of the four sets of internal lights have failed already after only a few minutes use. The five blue lights that illuminate the rear engine simply refuse to stay in place on the double sided tabs provided. The instructions along with a video on line was easy to follow, but the finished article has left me disappointed.

This was a birthday present for my adult son who is a theatre lighting technician and Star Wars fan - not working at the moment as the theatre is closed. He loves making things light up! He loved this. You don’t need technical aptitude to make it work.

We bought these lights for our Star Wars enthusiast grandson to fit onto his Millenium Falcon. I got a quarter of the way into fixing the lights with him but one of the very fragile cables broke. We have looked on multiple websites, are unable to contact the seller for a replacement cable and the only way we seem able to do this is from China???We therefore have a defunct set of lights which is a big disappointment for a Christmas present.
