5mtr Split Charge Relay kit with Durite 12V 140amp Intelligent Voltage sense Relay & 110amp Leads SCKD315

Brought to be fitted to my campervan to spilt charge my leisure battery. Came very quickly and well instructed. Didnt take long to fit at all. Hardest part was pulling the wires from engine bay to inside the van. Didnt need anything else to fit and very quick and easy installation. Had it now for 12months and never loosed me down. Keeping my battery always topped up. For the price its spot on. No need to pay expensive when this does the job.

All items were individually packaged. Came with clear concise instructions, follow these to the letter and you won't go wrong. Fitted to my 08 LDV Maxus. Plenty of cable to reach from engine bay to just behind bulkhead to the leisure battery. I would read through instructions a few times to familiarize yourself with the fittings remembering to keep the fuse blocks as close to the battery positives as possible. The hardest part for me was routing the cable from the engine bay, managed to get it through an existing gator which the wiring loom went through. Make sure you have a good set of heavy duty crimps, it will save you a heap of time. Allow yourself best part of a day if you're starting from scratch as in my case I had to remove trim & footwell & seatbelt housing off to route cable through the bulkhead. If you have a multi-meter this will take the guess work out of testing the system. Tested batteries voltage before start up, and again when engine was idling & again when stopped. You will have to wait about ten minutes or so for the voltage to drop on the main battery to below 12.65 before the vsr isolates the leisure battery...mine clicked off just under 12.64. Been out for a long run and it works perfectly. Would definitely recommend .

So far been on the road for just over a month with my camper and this relay hasn't skipped a beat. I am backed up by 180w of solar but this has helped me a lot. Will recommend to anyone and will use one of these in my next build.Edit: My Split Charge went faulty, contacted the seller and was greeted with faultless customer service and quick replacement. Now back up and running again thank you. Great seller

Excellent product, instructions written sensibly.all parts of good quality. Don't have to be a genius,as the instructions say....plan and measure twice.

Delivery is prompt. Instructions are idiot proof. Comes with a full list of contents so you know before you start that you have everything needed. My only problem was ordering the 5 metre wire but that was completely my fault. Would buy again if needed.
