Q: Will this or any other exterior drive allow you to transfer music?

You can transfer music from your phone to this drive but too connect it to your computer. Unfortunately, when I tried to transfer my music from my iPhone to this drive (800 tracks), only 200 have been transfered. So I used my computer to transfer the rest of music.

Q: is ist compatible with a lifeproof iPhone 6s case?

You will have to take the case off.

Q: Does it fit with an otterbox case?

Hmmm, maybe not. The device folds, so it’s actually thicker than a sleek memory stick. However, I can leave mine plugged into my iPad and still get the iPad in the case because of the flexibility of this flash drive. You can’t have too many flash drives! Recommended
