Many times I have thought what a person makes more likeable than others, but as well as other factor to close deals or be more symphatetic with other people. Sor far, I am enjoying the book so much and learning loads from my own decisions and the way I am thinking during conflicts or situations. Worth the read

Easy enjoyable read.

This book is extremely useful and provided me with a better understanding of EI. The examples in this book are great and really provide an insight in how to deal with every day situations at work etc.

I bought a nearly new copy for a few pounds. It came wrapped in cling film and was as good as new. I was delighted to find I had access to the EI survey which I did. Completing the survey really bought the book to life. The book helped me to interpret my survey results. I could then read the different chapters in the book and relate them to my survey findings and identify my personal development plan.I am a professional trainer and I will definitely be using the book and free online survey to run workshops on EI; I found the book that useful.

Fabulous little book on Emotional Intelligence. I read this after re-reading Goleman's classic and excellent book and this worked a treat. While it is a little light on research and theory (for which you really need to read Goleman); it does offer some great examples of what EQ looks like and strategies to train yourself in.I though the online assessment was a bit gimicky but it worked and gives you a starting point.Worth the money and certainly hit a few nerves and understanding in my own behaviours.

I've already had the audio book version of it but as the authors raved about their online EQ test ( how informative it is and how it will help to build development plan etc.) I decided to buy a paper copy just to get the access to EQ test.It was a waste of money as the test is literally around 30 rating scale questions about your behaviours. The results are very generic, short and poorly presented (as you have to navigate between your results page and the explanation behind it, ) it is not personalised. I have taken some free tests that were much more informative than this. The book itself is a good read, but if I would have known how basic their test was I would have not bought new paper copy but sticked with the audio book that I already had.

A great book, must read

Mandatory read for literally anyone who interacts with other people. Fanstastic book, easy to read and very helpful.
