Genius little gadget
A colleague had one of these & recommended it to me. For tracing cables, polarity etc it’s absolutely amazing. No more 2 man or backwards & forwards terminal blocking to trace continuity. Highly recommend.

This tool is a bit pricey, but it has paid for itself for me in terms of time savings. It makes identifying mystery wires very simple. It's a great tool to have for any rewiring project.
