Q: Has anyone used this product on gas permeable lenses?

According to the manufacturer, this "Clear Conscience Multi-Purpose Contact Lens Solution is a sterile, isotonic solution for daily cleaning, rinsing, disinfecting, removing protein, and storing ALL types of contact lenses, including soft (hydrophilic) contact lenses (including silicone hydrogels), as well as rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses."

Q: What are the ingredients?

It seems as though it's the same ingredients as any other brand at CVS. I'd like to soak in a multi-purpose brand like this and then rinse with a simple saline before inserting them in the eye. It doesn't seem like anyone makes a clean, plain saline anymore.

Q: What type of plastic is the lid, bottle, any seals inside the lid and the coating on your box? not what is not in them what are they made of.

I don't know if it's helpful, but on the bottom of the bottle it says it's recyclable, #2, HDPE

Q: Listing says "new packaging, same product," but the new label does not say it's for rgp lenses. is it the exact same product? suitable for hard lense?

That's right, it is the same product as always, and is for use with all contact lens types (including RGP, soft contact lenses, and Silicone Hydrogel lenses). Clear Conscience is currently working on updating labeling to include in these compatibility recommendations in accord with federal regulations, and new labels should roll out over the next few months. Safe and cruelty free..

Have been using this product for three years now and have had no problems with my lenses or eyes. Sadly, have to buy from the US as no one seems to make a similar cruelty free product in the UK.
