I ordered these after searching for notebooks that wouldn't blur fountain pen ink, were below A4 but larger than A5, had an integral dot-grid pattern, and could be ordered in packs of five or more. These fit the bill. The dots allow for easy diagram drawing, there are spaces for your own reference and the date, because they are slim - despite the perfect binding - they will lie flat when opened to allow easy writing whether you're a lefty or a righty. The bright colours may not be to everyone's taste, but I intend to use this to help me group similar subjects together across multiple booklets.

I am a Kokuyo notebook convert, particularly the Campus exercise books. These with their narrow rules and vibrant colours suit my writing purposes brilliantly - from notes in lectures to creative writing to journalling. There is some ghosting with pens - particularly the Papermate Inkjoy gels - but it's not bleeding through. The paper itself is beautifully smooth and satisfying to write on, with that appearance of the ink still being 'wet', and the tiny guidelines for ruling and drawing lines add a practical quality to this book. These will be a staple of my academic and teaching life for years to come, replacing any other brand.

I have used these all through out uni and they have been perfect. The pages are easy to look at and very comfortable to right on. Most importantly the pages do not cause the ink to bleed (I use a fountain pen).They are cheap and super great, I will continue to buy them as long as they exist.

Binding is basic but lovely paper, layout.

Fantastic notebook for practicing writing kanji, the spacing may seem quite small at first but you will quickly get used to writing in that size. A must-have for any student of Japanese, Chinese or any other languages that use Chinese characters.

Perfect book. Paper is really nice inside. Exactly what I was looking for. Came on time. Attached a photo of comparison again an A5 notebook in case anyone wants to see. To me this is the perfect size. Not too big like a4 but big enough

These are a brilliant size, not quite A4 but better if anything to place into your handbag with ease. Great for a number of writing projects, will definitely be ordering some more of these soon.

Great sized notebooks. The paper does feather a little bit with a lot of the fountain pen inks. The feathering also appears at odd places on the paper, making me think that the coating is non uniform.

Amazing quality

I am a fan of the dotted lines and the books are nice a durable. I enjoy the color variety as it helps me sperate them by class. My notes have been more organized and they are all around fun to write in. The only gripe I have is that I wish they had more pages and easy tear pages.
